ELEKTRA
I was thrilled to be offered the chance to adapt the Elektra movie into book form.
So thrilled, in fact, that I pushed aside some other projects to get the job and work on it.
The screenplay is terrific and the movie was pretty good, too. I haven't seen the director's cut yet, and I hope it might put in some of what got cut out of the regular release. Check my adaptation out and see what got changed by the time it made it to the screen!
One of the unfortunate things about doing adaptations is that they nearly always cut out your dedications/acknowledgements.
For the record, I dedicated this one to Stan Lee (didn't know I'd be doing Fantastic Four next!) and gave a big tip of the hat to Frank Miller.
